Single row tapered roller bearings are designed to withstand combined radial and axial loads with low friction during operation. The inner ring assembly with rollers and cage can be mounted separately and individually from the outer ring. These separable, interchangeable bearings are easy to mount, dismount and maintain. Mounting a single row tapered roller bearing against another bearing provides preload for rigid bearing applications.
