Single row cylindrical roller thrust bearings are designed to withstand heavy axial and shock loads in one direction, but not radial loads. The bearings have a high degree of rigidity and require a small clearance. They are mainly used in applications where the load carrying capacity of thrust ball bearings is insufficient. An important feature is the separable design, which facilitates mounting, and the individual parts of the bearing are interchangeable.
- Higher axial load carrying capacity
- Higher rigidity
- Long service life
- Little axial space required
- Separable design
