KM(L) locknuts with metric threads are used to fix the bearings to the shaft. They have four evenly spaced locating grooves on the circumference to accommodate impact spanner loads. These locknuts are secured to the shaft by means of any MB(L) lockwashers. The KM locknuts are optionally available with a stronger MB ... A lock washers. The KM locknuts can be reused without damage.
