RIS 203

Rubber seating rings for embedded bearings

The rubber seating rings in the RIS 2 series are primarily used to provide cushioning for embedded bearings in pressed steel vertical (shaft table) housings. Located between the bearing outer ring and the housing bore, the rubber seating ring reduces vibration and noise and allows the bearing to be displaced slightly within the housing to withstand minor shaft expansion or misalignment.

  • Recessed bearings with cushion
  • Reduces vibration and noise
  • Withstand minor misalignments
