Double row angular contact ball bearings with seals on both sides correspond in design and operation to two single row angular contact ball bearings matched back-to-back, but take up less axial space. Depending on the seal configuration, they can be operated at high speeds and can withstand higher axial forces in both directions than deep groove ball bearings.
- High speed capability
- Can withstand higher radial loads and higher bi-directional axial loads and tilting moments
- Suitable for bearing configurations requiring rigidity
- Requires less axial space than similar paired single row angular contact ball bearings.
- Embedded seals extend bearing life
