Spherical roller thrust bearings can withstand very high axial loads and considerable radial loads. With the largest load ratings of any thrust bearing, they allow for more compact bearing configurations and higher power densities. By combining two or more spherical roller thrust bearings, it is possible to have bearings with self-aligning function (allowing shaft misalignment) or very high rigidity.
- High load carrying capacity
- Can withstand combined loads
- Allow misalignment or form rigid bearing configurations
- Long service life and low friction
- Separable design
