KMTA precision locknuts with cylindrical outer face are designed for high precision, simple assembly and reliable locking equipment applications. Three equally spaced locking pins allow the locknut to be precisely positioned at right angles to the shaft. It can also be adjusted to compensate for slight angular deviations of neighbouring components. Maximum axial runout between locating surface and thread (up to size series 40): 0.005 mm.
