NU type mixed ceramic single row cylindrical roller bearings

Hybrid ceramic single row cylindrical roller bearings are designed for applications subject to heavy radial loads and high speeds. The inner and outer rings made of bearing steel and the rollers made of bearing grade silicon nitride make the bearings electrically insulating. The ceramic rollers not only protect the bearings from electrical current damage, but also increase the performance of the bearings even under severe operating conditions, thus extending the life of the bearings. NU-type bearings have integral flanges on both sides of the outer ring and no flanges on the inner ring, allowing bi-directional axial displacement. The separable design facilitates mounting, and the various parts of the bearing are interchangeable.
