Hybrid ceramic single-row deep groove ball bearings with low-friction seals on both sides are a combination of inner and outer rings made of bearing steel and rolling elements made of bearing-grade silicon nitride (Si3N4), which allows the bearings to be electrically insulated. The low-friction seals provide a better sealing effect than dust caps and non-contact seals, thus significantly extending the life of the bearings, which can still be operated at the same speeds as dust caps. Silicon nitride rolling elements not only protect the bearings from damage caused by electric currents, but also enhance the performance of the bearings compared to steel rolling element bearings of the same size, extending bearing life, increasing speed capability, increasing wear resistance and bearing stiffness, reducing the risk of adhesive wear or pseudo-Brunner's indentation, and being less sensitive to temperature gradients, making them particularly suitable for harsh operating conditions and contaminated environments.
