Needle roller thrust bearings and cage thrust assemblies are designed to withstand heavy axial loads and shock loads in one direction. The bearings have high rigidity and low axial clearance. In applications where adjacent machine parts are used as keyways, needle roller thrust bearings take up no more space than conventional thrust bearings. These bearings can also be used in combination with housing rings to form complete bearings.
