This SKF rod end bearing consists of a spherical plain bearing with a steel-to-steel sliding contact surface combination. These bearings require maintenance and can be supplemented with lubrication through the lubrication holes or grease nipples in the rod end seats and rod shanks. Locating pins facilitate the centring of welded rods of cylindrical section.
