A gear clutch including a shaft, a coupling sleeve, an inner gear, an outer gear, a rotating sleeve, a small hole, a pin, a stopper, a spiral groove and a screw hole. The shaft is fitted with a coupling sleeve, the left end of the coupling sleeve is fitted with an internal gear, the middle part of the coupling sleeve is connected to the external gear, the right end of the coupling sleeve is fitted with a rotating sleeve, there is a small hole at the connection between the coupling sleeve and the rotating sleeve, the head of the pin is inserted into the hole, and a baffle is fitted to the right end face of the coupling sleeve. There are two symmetrical helical grooves in the toothless part of the outer gear and two symmetrical screw holes in the rotating sleeve, and the pin is threaded through the helical grooves of the outer gear to connect with the rotating sleeve.
Gear clutches are manufactured using standard module gear cutters. This type of clutch relies on the meshing of the inner and outer gears to transmit torque.
